AFRA has an extensive collection of material on rural land and development issues in KwaZulu-Natal. The collection dates back to the start of AFRA's work in 1979, and includes AFRA reports, publications and photographs, as well as books, periodicals and pamphlets amongst others. Archival materials on the history and work of AFRA are also housed at the Alan Paton Centre & Struggle Archives.
